Another day of clouds

It appears the the nice weekend that was supposed to be on tap will be a big bust with clouds ruling over most of the state Saturday and Sunday.  Almost feels like Mother Nature played some sort of April Fool’s joke on us.  East winds will keep temperatures at bay today with highs topping out in the 60s across southern Minnesota.  My thinking is that MSP will see a high of around 65.

The warm frontal boundary has stalled out over the Northern Plains, so much of the warmer air will not make it up here today.

The Storm Prediction Center is indicating a marginal chance for hail approaching severe levels tonight and into the overnight hours, but with the clouds and a stalled front, I don’t see this happening.
